The Bigger Book of Even Better Questions

It is a fact that answers come only to questions, and the better the question, the better the answer is likely to be. A book like this is not meant to be read like any other. There is no point to "going on" just to say, "I read that book." The guidance of one of my teachers applies here: "Stay where there's fruit." If a question rankles, disturbs or upsets you, take it to your "quiet place," and sit with it, letting it dissolve into your mind like a piece of rock candy dissolves slowly on your tongue. This other counsel from the medieval scholastics ("Non multa sed multum") also applies. Freely translated: "It's not knowing many things that satisfies the soul but knowing a few quality things deeply." A superlatively good question taken to heart can change a life. (Caveat Lector: Let the reader beware.) If you are not ready, willing and open to change of perspective and behavior, STOP. Don't read this book. It will be too dangerous to the status quo. Forewarned is forearmed.
