Readings is an independent bookseller with several branches located around Melbourne; in Carlton, Doncaster, Hawthorn, Malvern, St Kilda, Emporium, and within the State Library of Victoria, plus an online shop. You can read more about us here.

When employment opportunities arise, our Managers look to engage enthusiastic retailers who share our passion for books, music and film, who can demonstrate a strong customer service focus, and who are keen to share their product knowledge.

We’re fortunate to receive many unsolicited applications for employment which means, when employment opportunities do come up, our Managers are generally able to take on people with bookselling or other relevant industry experience.

If you are interested in a Customer Service position, feel free to complete this expression of interest form and submit it along with your resume, then we can consider you should such a position become available. We can retain your personal details for up to a month, in accordance with our privacy policy.
