*The winners of the Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards were announced in a ceremony on Sunday 16 September. *

Fiona Skyring’s Justice: A History of the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia won the overall 2011 Premier’s Prize as well as the WA History Award. All That I Am by Anna Funder was voted the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

Tim Winton was inducted into the State Library of Western Australia’s Hall of Fame of notable and prolific WA writers.
