We adore Sally Rippin’s heartwarming Polly and Buster series, all about a witch and monster who happen to be best friends. Both books in the series appear on our list of bestselling children’s books from last week: The Wayward Witch and the Feelings Monster and The Mystery of the Magic Stones.
Other bestselling children’s books of last week include a new gorgeous non-fiction book from Yuval Zommer (The Big Book of the Blue), this year’s Newbery Medal winner (Hello, Universe), and two illustrated anthologies of inspiring true stories (Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, Stories for Boys Who Dare to be Different).
We’re also delighted that young readers are still snapping up copies of our award-winning Tarin of the Mammoths trilogy pack. The first book of the trilogy, Tarin of the Mammoths: The Exile, was named the winner of the 2018 Readings Children’s Book Prize! The judging panel commented: ‘This is an action-packed and unputdownable Stone Age epic that is guaranteed to have readers on the edge of their seats.’
