Our top selling title this week is the latest in the Treehouse series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. We celebrated with a fun-filled launch in Carlton that was extremely rowdy and utterly hilarious!

Our YA Book of the Month was launched this week at our Kids shop and it has proved extremely popular, coming second in our bestseller list for the week. You can read our staff review here.

Also doing well this week is our Children’s Book of the Month, a stunning book about the sacrifices parents make for their children and a charming read-aloud for children aged 4 and up.

Readings was the official bookseller for the Melbourne Writers Festival, which was on last week and included authors Alice Pung, who has just released a beautiful new picture book, Michelle Aung Thin discussing the persecution of the Rohingya in Myanmar, and young adult authors Rhiannon Wilde and Miranda Luby, talking about their new books.
