Our kids and YA bestsellers this week is a balanced mix of books that have been loved by our customers for some time now! It was a great week for YA - with Ransom Riggs’ new book in the massive Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series, The Conference of the Birds making an appearance, as well as Australian author Wai Chim’s The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling and Karen McManus’s two teen thrillers, One Of Us Is Lying and One Of Us Is Next.

It is also lovely to see the very charming The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Ugly Animals - a celebration of the beauty and interest to be found in “ugly” creatures - make our bestsellers list once more.
