Our kids and YA bestsellers have been populated by the same books all summer; Bluey in all her forms reigns supreme, David Walliams is perenially popular with The Beast of Buckingham Palace, and Greta Gerwig’s excellent screen adaptation has inspired even more reading of the classic Little Women.

On a week that includes the 26th January, it’s nice to see Bruce Pascoe’s Young Dark Emu and Marcia Langton’s Welcome to Country (Youth Edition) on our list, hopefully inspiring new reflection on this national day.
