The new Wimpy Kid is the top of the bestseller list this week. We're now up to number 17 in the popular middle grade series and this time our hero, Greg, has joined a rock band.

Our Readings Prizes were announced last Wednesday and it is delightful to see that our Children's Prize winner is in second place in our list this week. This is a brilliant adventure story set in the Daintree rainforest featuring dastardly criminals, a determined bunch of kids and a very hungry crocodile!

Also on the list are the new middle grade titles by Craig Silvey, Amelia Mellor and Nova Weetman that are all excellent reads for 8-12 year olds.
