NSW Premier’s Literary Awards Shortlists 2019
The NSW Premier’s Literary Awards shortlists for 2019 have now been announced.
Administered by the State Library of NSW, these annual awards honour distinguished achievement by Australian writers.
The 2019 shortlists are:

Shortlists were also announced for prizes in playwriting, scriptwriting and literary translation.
This year’s total prize money, including sponsored awards and the People’s Choice Award, is up to $305,000. The winners of the 10 award categories will be announced on 29 April 2019, and will go on to contest the overall Book of the Year.
