A Beacon in the Light

William returns to the town of his childhood on the outskirts of Ely, MN after a string of sudden disappearances there. A degenerative disease has since taken his sight, but a photographic memory serves him nearly as well. After stumbling on the body of a man in the woods, he'll need it to escape the pursuing killers, and at once, to reveal the secrets of a decades-old cold case he once thought resolved.
