Faces in the Mirror

Faces in the Mirror incorporates themes from four different suspenseful novels: To Kill A Mockingbird, Kindred, Imitation of Life, and Psycho. In this historical fiction Lace Madison, an African American teen, is a suspect in the murder of Abigail Tinsley. Abigail was a wealthy White widow who live in the same neighborhood, situated on land of a former plantation. With the help of Ceasar, a man with an uncanny knowledge of past events, and her best friend, Nina, Lace searches for the killer. But this leads to startling questions about Nina and the identify of her unknown parents.
