Broken Again is a gut-wrenching, eye-opening, and heartbreaking experience of a young woman named Heavenly navigating her adolescent years while coping with the aftermath of her father's death. Her dad allegedly was killed by gun violence. Or was he? Life for her begins to take her on a downward spiral of mental health struggles, victimization of physical/sexual abuse, and becoming a mother to her younger siblings because of no-show parents.
