Cursed Into the Shadows is a fun little book. It follows the main character, a girl named Dawn. Located in a world alternate to our own, people have magic. Those that don't, are discriminated aganst. They live in an island separate form everyone else, and prejudiced aganst. Dawn and her friends don't have any magic. But Dawn wants to make her mark in the world and prove to the world that even if she doesn't have any magic, she isn't weak.
