Toddlerhood

"Toddlerhood: Reality Abstracted" is a fine art photography book for toddlers and early readers.

This book is different. Rather than teaching, it encourages collaboration, communication, and connection through noticing details in our daily lives.

All the images in this book capture things and scenes most toddlers (and parents of toddlers) will recognize. Taken through the lens of a first time toddler mom, each image toes the line between still life reality and abstraction. This style allows for a recognition of the familiar while leaning into abstraction gives us a chance to look past, "that's a sippy cup" to experience and talk about the thing we drink from in a new way.
