In the middle of the Solomon Sea, off the coast of Papua New Guinea, by cover of inexplicable, violent storm clouds lies la Isla de Sebria. Once inhabited by the Spanish Conquistadores, and later the discovery of an exiled village of natives from the nearby Solomon Islands, suffering from a rare form of leprosy. It is now home to a highly contagious and deadly virus that threatens all who are unlucky enough to make landfall on its beautiful, powdery, sand covered beaches.

Sam, Laura, Edward and Eva are four such people. Trapped in a seemingly inescapable and unwinable situation, they much team up and figure a way off the disease riddled island, all while dealing with a host of unsavory characters whose paths they also cross. They must do this before the island paradise consumes them all in a shower of crimson red.
