With the arrival of her eighteenth birthday, Ecko does not receive typical material gifts, all wrapped up in boxes and gift bags and tied with pretty ribbons and bows. She discovers that she has a powerful, diabolical father who will stop at nothing to capture her and steal her magic for his own selfish desires and that she must somehow find a way to stop them both.
