Volume 1 contains a digitally reformatted version of Wolfe's original 1943 work Stories of Guernsey County, Ohio -- now in the public domain -- with a new editor's preface and 76 pages of historic township maps featuring landowner names in 1855, 1870, and 1902 to supplement individual township historic accounts.
