Search for the Gatherers

Returning to duty and society is finally within reach for Joe. At least it seems that way.

Just as life takes a normal rhythm, Joe receives devastating news. The urge to return to his life as a hermit becomes very real. While Joe tries to fight against that urge, a mysterious woman contacts him. He has no reason to trust her, but his gut tells him he needs to. The information she offers him, if true, holds the key to putting his life back together.

The more Joe information she offers Joe, the more he wants to believe her story. The woman needs Joe's help, but that won't be simple for Joe. He can't do it alone and he doesn't want to drag anyone else into his problems. Joe quickly finds out he has friends he didn't realize would stick by his side, and they are ready to join him. After a quick turn of events, the three of them have no choice but to plunge headlong into a desperate rescue mission to save multiple lives.

Joe doesn't know if they are brave or suicidal, but there is no turning back in the second installment of the Joe Higgins novels.
