Doctor Owlkin and The H.O.M.E. Team Book 6 - KC Koala

KC Koala is the only deaf animal on her island. Doctor Owlkin and The H.O.M.E. Team cross the Pacific to help KC Koala and her best friend, DeeDee Kangaroo, invent Animal Sign Language so all animals can communicate with each other. This book has many animals unique to Australia : a platypus, a kookaburra, a crocodile, and a short-beaked enchidna.

Our Mission: The Doctor Owlkin book series wants to encourage acceptance of children with differences or additional needs. Even though others may be "different," we find that inside everybody just wants to be loved, encouraged, accepted, appreciated, and included!
