Doctor Owlkin and The H.O.M.E. Team Book 1 - Trouble

Dr. Owlkin and Nurse Sharky receive an alert of a dog causing trouble and go to see if they can help. When they arrive, they see a Bloodhound with extraordinarily long ears being scolded by the other animal shop owners. They learn that the Bloodhound is lost. They also learn about her seemingly magical ears and how this "difference" has saved her from these angry shop owners. Will she be rescued and become part of the H.O.M.E. Team or will she use her super-powered ears to escape?

As Doctor Owlkin always reminds the team, "It doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, it's WHOOOOOO you are on the inside that matters most!"

Our Mission: The Doctor Owlkin book series wants to encourage the acceptance of children with differences or additional needs. Even though others may be "different," we find that inside everybody just wants to be loved, encouraged, accepted, appreciated, and included!
