In 1981 I met the scientist Buckminster Fuller, and he challenged me to become a "world problem-solver" and help solve the nuclear dilemma. Within six months of that meeting, I walked away from my position as president and heir to controlling interest of a multi-million-dollar insurance company to take up the challenge. I went on a vision quest, which led me a year later to the dream of a flag for all people of the world.
