Jewels Among The Ruins

"Jewels Among The Ruins" is a romantic family saga that begins with the heroine remembering being flown out of Warsaw, Poland, as a child in 1988 - to escape the turmoil of the Soviet-style government collapsing. In the present, she is an interior architect in a Chicago firm owned by an American relative.

While interviewing to remodel the offices of a successful attorney, she meets a business owner who is deeply in debt. He is also an American war veteran - who is still recovering from wounds received during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Wounds must be healed - as well as relationships with family, colleagues and friends ...then, there is one who decides to ruin them.
