Christina's Cupboard is a historical fiction novel-in-stories chronicling the history of the Wade family and their descendants-the people they encounter and the events they experience as they journey through life-from 1700s England to modern-day America.

It was 1980 when John Murphy began researching his family's history. John lived in Christiansburg, Ohio-a town named after his fourth great-grandfather, Christian Wade.

From journal and diary records to entries in the Wade Bible, it was the information John found in the old cupboard, handcrafted in 1766 by one of John's ancestors, that gave him enough evidence to begin unraveling the intriguing details about his family-how they lived, loved, worked, and died. Through his discoveries, he went on to write eighteen uniquely individual stories.

This old cupboard, while extraordinary, is neither magical nor mystical. It stands today, quietly at attention, in the home of Christian and Marie Wade's seventh great-granddaughter, Christina, having revealed the secrets of ten generations of the Wades and their descendants
