Tim Reardon has managed to craft a novel that will remind you of the best of Elmore Leonard (Get Shorty) and Fredrick Backman (Beartown and a Man Called Ove) while once again asserting his unique voice in this story of San Francisco teens in the 1980s in search of adventure, love, redemption and a baseball card worth thousands of dollars.
