Rika, the Cuban Flame

Rika Hardric is the face of women's MMA. She's a fighter in the featherweight division of the most popular fighting league, with a winning record to match. She has millions of followers on every social media and too many fans to interact with directly. She's mean. She's harsh. But most importantly, she's single, with a history of failed relationships because of her dominant nature. The Cuban Flame doesn't submit. That's not her style. Lucas is the typical and unextraordinary pre-med student at a large university. He's deep in debt because of his student loans and lives in a dinky little studio apartment. He spends most of his time attending class or studying, like any talented student should. His normal life soon changes when he crosses paths with Rika at the Hardric Gym, who calls him pale and accuses him of trespassing.

When Rika entangles Lucas in her submissions during a demonstration, his unexpected reaction goes viral. He's thrown under a humiliating spotlight and subjected to torment from Rika's fans.
