As a tuba player in high school, Bob Cupery earned his first flight lesson by agreeing to play in a marching band. When a football injury ended his dream of joining the U.S. Marine Corps, he entered the U.S. Air Force instead. After leaving military service, Bob enrolled in Northrop University, which is now Spartan Aeronautics.

From there, he embarked on a nearly ten-year tenure with the Northrop Corporation as a crew member flying corporate executives and famous celebrities to worldwide destinations aboard a chartered Grumman Executive jet. That gave Bob an opportunity to build an international network of maintenance professionals and filling his "toolbox," as it were, on his way to becoming the "Godfather of Aircraft Window Repairs."

After becoming a father, Bob's work preferences changed to keep him closer to home. His position within the aviation industry and vast knowledge of the airframe and power plant (A&P) criteria, enabled him to make discoveries that positively impacted aviation safety by refurbishing aircraft windows and lenses.

Throughout Bob's long and active career, he was the recipient of many prestigious awards, among them the iconic Charles E. Taylor Award from the Federal Aviation Administration to recognize 50 years of service in the aircraft maintenance field without flaw or violation.

Bob and his wife, Kathi, reside in southern California where the couple remains active on a daily basis enjoying mentoring, healthy cooking, exercising, and traveling between speaking engagements. For more information on Bob's company, visit www.aircraftwindowrepairs.com.
