It's My Parade is a story about how a young girl confronts the hardships of her day. After getting herself dressed in mismatched clothes she feels best suits her, she passes by her sister who doesn't appreciate her eclectic outfit. Despite her sister's attempt, the peppy girl doesn't let her sister's negativity ruin her morning. Instead, she maintains her sunshine attitude as she starts her day. As other rainclouds (a grumpy teacher, a judgy group of girls, and a mean brother) try to hinder her way, she boldly perseveres. The story ends with her cheerful attitude attracting the type of friends she truly wants to hang out with.
