The Adventures of Tide, the Ocean-going Green Sea Turtle

My children were very young when we visited the Big Island of Hawaii and made the memorable experience of swimming with the green sea turtles at Black Sand Beach. Often thereafter, at bedtime or on long driving trips, I began to tell the tales of Tide, the oceangoing green sea turtle. Thus began the heartwarming tale of one of the sea's most adorable creatures. From her very first pip, deep in the sands of her natal shore, to her discovery of Sargasso Town in the heart of the sea, and beyond.
