Like a femme fatale straight out of a noir film, Delilah is feisty, no-nonsense, and focused not on love, but on making as much money as possible using her sexuality. Delilah has a philosophy about men that informs her lifestyle. She believes that because of how far they will go to win the love or attention of an attractive woman, they are the weaker sex. Delilah saw men as little silly boys in the bodies of adult men who deserved to be taken for everything they've got.
After Delilah saw how her mother was treated her eyes were opened to never be closed again. She vowed that she would never let a man tell her what to do or how to live her life. Delilah didn't want her daughter to succumb to the heartaches or the need for a man to take care of her. So, Delilah taught her daughter Esta the art of piano lessons.
Usually, children sit on a piano bench and place their hands on ebony and ivory keys to play the piano. That was Esta's perception but it was far from the truth. Delilah would soon teach Esta that men are the piano and their emotions and desires are the ebony and ivory keys to be played. It wasn't long before Esta was mastering her lessons. Delilah's appetite for a better life grew and grew as did her school to teach other women the art of piano lessons.
Will Delilah's actions catch up to her, or will she see the error of her ways before she scars her daughter for life under the guise of teaching her hard lessons?
