Death to the Westlands' Traitor!

In Book 6, of The Tower of the Cin Trilogy, Thaddeus the Faithless,

Thaddeus has regained his Powers of Sorcery from the Inferna. But

the Dark Prince of the Cin has other plans-to blame Thaddeus

for the murders of the Imperial family allowing Soh-Nahk to seize the

Throne. Now the Westlands' Apprentice must flee the East as all Cin turns

against him.

The Aelvae assist Thaddeus, their Amicus Faerrarum, in reaching the

Golden Sea. But his deception is discovered and he is doggedly pursued by

the Cinnian Navy. All, then, is left to the Mauretesian Ships of the Red Dove

to race to intercept the Imperial Fleet.

Once home, will Thaddeus' heroic deed be worth the cost of public

disgrace and absolute expulsion he is sure to face?

  • Should Thaddeus risk the lives of his Ancient Master and Brother

Apprentice in order to make good his escape?

  • Should Thaddeus sign a covenant with a Daemon, whose only avowed

purpose is to conquer and enslave all humanity, simply to increase

Thaddeus' own power?

  • Should Thaddeus return the Tower of the Cin to its rightful place in the

Eastlands, no matter the cost?

  • Should Thaddeus hazard facing the Council of Deeds whose only agenda

is to try him for blasphemy?

  • Should Thaddeus accept the penance of twelve solitary years as spy for

the Westlands hegemony?

Sauvain's strength prevails, creating a page-turner of strong and

vigorous cast of characters for fantasy superfans. -Kirkus Indie
