A Cry for Justice

Teresa was fourteen when she knelt next to her father, her jeans soaking up the blood pouring from his chest. With his last breath he told her to run. Teresa grabbed her seven-year-old brother and all the money in the cash register at her dad's diner and ran away from her home in Henderson, Nevada. They hitched a ride as far as Austin, Texas. Houston and Sophie resigned from the President's Task Force after Sophie nearly drowned on the last mission. They decided to stay in Austin and build a home. After Teresa graduated high school, she approached Houston and Sophie and told them what happened to her father. Teresa wanted to go back to Henderson and put the man who killed her father behind bars. But she knew she would need help. Houston, Sophie, and Teresa travel to Henderson to get justice for Teresa's father. What started as a murder investigation ended up rooting out corruption going on for years in the Henderson Police Department.
