Pursuit

Kate Edwards, newly orphaned at eleven, experiences culture shock when she is sent to live with her uncle, a man she never met. No longer a pampered child of wealthy parents, she has to adjust to a whole new way of life in the wilds of Montana.

In her teen years, she suffers events that traumatize her so deeply that she moves far away. Years later, still tortured by the memories, she follows her therapist's advice to face her fears and returns home.

Unexpectedly, the same dangers await her, and she ends up in a life-and-death struggle not only for her own survival, but also for her uncle's.

Facing certain torture and death, she has no way of escape. Would God, from whom she has run all her life, care enough to help her?
