I was raised to take whatever was given to me. Even if it meant marrying a man I didn't like, much less loved. There's no room for someone like me in my uncle's world and he wouldn't hesitate to commit me to a life of hell if it benefited him. He sent his daughter and me to a place he thought was safe so he could mold his successor to his preferences without distractions. Little did my dear old uncle know, he was showing me a way out from under his thumb.

My cousin, Rae Morrissey, is building a better world through vigilante justice along with an empire she tried to avoid. Her first order of business is to steal from a truly evil man, counting coup, as she calls it, and hopefully coming out unscathed. She needs help because she can't do it alone.
