The Apara need new blood... They'll have to look where they haven't before... It's up to Tess to find the right ones.The Apara are having a labor shortage, and Tess has been tasked with finding others deserving of the Apara gift. She must search far and wide as there aren't enough suitable people in their database to make up for their losses. One of the first ones she finds is a local therapist, Susan Burns, but Tess is not the only one aware of her existence, and the race is on to get to Sue first and convince her to join the Apara.

This is not Sue's first time crossing paths with the Apara, though she was unaware. Now, a connection from her past will be tasked with her protection and eventually transformation, should she consent.

Sue is one of a very special group of potential Apara who will likely gain great gifts once transformed; gifts she can only dream of!
