When a bullet struck him directly in the mouth at just 19 years of age, Jerome's life was forever changed. He refused to be held back by any limitations. Instead, he allowed the experience to propel him forward, strengthening his will, and is now a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

Years later, he joined a R&B singing group and proved worthy to be the opening act for famous musical Artists Monica and Usher. Pursuing the arts further, Jerome was cast in the musical The Color Purple and Tyler Perry's movie Why Did I Get Married Too and more.
