In life, let's be real like Muhammad Ali, Indigenous blacks had to grow up fast. Life was made to be hard and cold. On the streets of Brooklyn, in the Ocean Hill Brownsville section of the 16 districts, crews started forming from among the new generation growing up there on the turning pages of the mid-`80s. The Hill was governed by three families who faded into the shadows, and these youth growing up in the blaze of their glory were shown away. So, it was allowed for the younger generation of hustlers to exist. A new set of players holding gangster bankrolls came up with their survival tactics in the drug game doing a time of kill or be killed. Steal or struggle like hell.

Yet, for one crew, they were like Black Souls. One vision, one mission, and one focus. King and his partner, Born, were into building their reality into truth to where they could see it. King selected Born for his accountability, his history, and concepts. For him, he had already dived into the heart of hustling and living early on. He uncovered the essence behind every successful rule before them and shared it with Born. And then, they explored deeper into living the good life in a shit storm. Yet, King had the tools and techniques to craft a standout group and knew how to stay low.
