The Millennium is a thousand years of peace, prosperity, and worldwide human flourishing. Jesus Christ has returned to earth as KING of kings and LORD of lords to reign as the head of earth's government. He ends the domination and rule of gentile powers and establishes His seat of government in Jerusalem. From there He rules over the earth in righteousness and justice. But he does not rule alone, He rules with the righteous ones. Indeed, the millennium is the time when "the kingdoms of this world has become the Kingdom of our God and of His Christ."
