About Carrie Akre

Carrie Akre is a musician and songwriter in the Pacific Northwest, perhaps best known for her role in the underground grunge movement in bands Hammerbox and Goodness. Carrie continues to write, play, and create, as well as coach, help, and work with artists and humans as they move through life and and their relationship with art and, most importantly, themselves. Home, her debut solo record, was originally released in 2000. Carrie and her bands have released almost twenty records since 1991.
