Angelo loved his garden...until one day his garden changes. This story, based on the memory of a beloved, hard-working man from South Philadelphia, is one of love, loss, and inspiration. It reminds us of how our loved ones are never truly gone and the powerful impact we can have on those around us - whether we realize it or not.

About Angelo

Angelo Pinto was an Italian-American, World War II Army Veteran, and former washer/dryer repairman. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, PA, he was a humble, hard-working, loving, easy-going, and generous man who inspired and captured the hearts of everyone he met. In 2011, Angelo passed away at the age of 93. He was married to his wife, Anna, for 63 years and he is currently survived by 8 children (and their spouses), 9 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. This book was written to honor his memory.
