Once in a lifetime it appears,

Its lovely bouquet offering,

To blessed souls while mirroring

God's love that His creation, steers.

Once in a lifetime, come what may,

Of the worthy it reaches shores

And their lives it blesses in scores,

Like flowers in the month of May.

Once in a lifetime then I'll sing

Steadily to my shiny star

Who deep in me and yet afar

Within my soul her solace brings

For love's given from God above

And brands all hearts where it harbors.

It never sways in its ardor

Although to some, it's unheard-of
