The Gingerfolk Ball

"When midnight comes on New Year's Eve,
If you're happy as a mouse ...
Then something magic happens
To the cookies in your house!"
This is a non-religious holiday book about how gingerbread cookies come to life on New Year's Day and have a party. It's been described as "cute" and "wholesome". It also rhymes, but not in an annoying way. It was written to explain the (new) holiday tradition of "Gingerpendence Day", which is when you take all the leftover holiday cookies out on a long walk and release them back into nature.
