Nose to Nose

Addiction came to my home. In didn't knock politely. It came like a thief in the night and made claim to one of my most precious children. Dangling my son over a deep chasm, the Beast of addiction aggressively gripped him, ripped into him, and lied to him. Nose to nose I stood with my son as the battle raged on. When your child suffers, you suffer too. We are not enough to hold all the hurts but I know the One who can and I will introduce you to Him. Journey with me in this story and see that we are all the same, smell the fear of losing, hear the cries of pain, taste the truths of the "fix," and feel the kind of love that goes deeper than you ever could imagine. Overdose death is not the end. The final rescue mission is yet to come.
