"Lucky, the left-pawed puppy, was a Hollywood dog. He lived in Mrs. Poppset's house beneath the "H" of the gigantic Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California.
Lucky, however, didn't appear to be all that lucky. From the time he was born, Lucky seemed to be going in the wrong direction.
When Lucky and his brothers, Shortstuff and Rags, ran to catch Frisbees, Lucky always ended up on the side of the yard where the Frisbee wasn't.
When Lucky's brothers approached a tree from one side, Lucky approached the tree from the other side and always someone's head was bumped.
And at the end of each day, when it was time to sleep in Mrs. Poppyset's bed, Lucky cuddled on the side that was opposite Mrs. Poppyset's front."
