Praise the Lord and Pass the Poison

Christine Randal is a church praise-team leader whose biggest problem is getting the singers in tune and the guitarist and keyboard coming in on the right beat...until one of her altos drops dead from a poisoned cough drop during rehearsal. The next churchgoers to fall to the malicious booby traps are the editor of the church newsletter, electrocuted by a miswired copier while printing the latest issue, and the drama team captain, who literally breaks a leg on a fall through the stage.

Christine and husband Rob, fancying themselves Northwest Indiana's answer to Poirot and Captain Hastings (and neither is sure which is which), try to ferret out the truth behind these crimes. Could birthing unexpected triplets have driven Kirsten the keyboardist to murderous insanity, and could Principal Walter Kappas be hiding a vicious truth about the hirings and firings at the local Christian school?

As Christine learns more of the dark secrets lurking behind the pleasant facades at New Vision Community Fellowship, she puts herself into the path of the killer. Now she's defending not only her church but her life.
