It's 1983, and thirty-six- year-old babbling buffoon Scotty J. Fahrenheit promises himself that this is going to be his year-the year he would finally land a job and calm down his elderly mother, Mable, who is at her wits end trying to deal with her son's never-ending childishness.

When Scotty is hired at a veterinary clinic, it seems to be the answers to everyone's prayers, but hopes fade when he has one screw up after another. Then after only working two days on the job, Scotty loses mobster Tony Buffo's Doberman Pincher and is fired again.

After a series of hilarious events, Scotty winds up hitching a ride with a serial killer who leaves him at a gas station. With no choices left, he decides that he must face the most dangerous man in America, the mobster Buffo, but what happens next will leave you stunned!
