In Session

Nineteen years of talk therapy and one year of poetry therapy make for one hell of a healing journey. In Session: A Collection of Healing Poems is an expression of coming to terms with experiences from the past in order to fully experience the present and not fear the experiences of the future. It recalls painful memories and exhibits raw emotion as one's perceived reality is exposed and displayed without shame, without fear, and without restraint. On this path of recovery from multiple anxiety disorders and an eating disorder, I share my most intimate thoughts not only in the hopes of healing myself, but also in the hopes of helping others. Our words matter. We matter. We have always been more than enough.
