He doesn't know it, but this moment will change his life-forever.

Broke, desperate and alone, he's a twenty-five-year-old high school dropout. His only goal: to secure a position as TeleShop's newest show host.

Robert's a decade past school and his careers haven't been fountains of success. The one constant in his life is the incessant spiel of Dealmaker Dave. The show host's voice sounds from the television in every motel and furnished room he's stayed.

No matter how alone, no matter where situated, TeleShop and the Dealmaker are always there. The products don't matter. TV shopping has raised the selling of tchotchkes to high art.

Without a background in broadcasting or sales, Robert hurls himself into the interview. After all, compared to working graveyard as a security guard, how much worse can life get?

Yasmine Dubai, TeleShop's beautiful Director of Talent conducts his pre-interview tour. She's a Wharton MBA and way out of his league. Robert is smitten the moment they meet.

Dealmaker Dave Leonard is the network's top host. He barrels about like a bull in a china shop. Can Robert hang onto his coattails long enough to learn his trade?
