Vinnie looked on in horror at the flesh-hung corpse. The zombie stared back with dead yellow eyes that showed no hint of thought or will. Vinnie swallowed hard. He looked back at Drakan expecting to see fangs, and a cape, and to become the vampire’s next meal. Instead, he saw Drakan holding up a purple jumpsuit and a soldier’s helmet painted bright yellow.
This is the henchman uniform, Drakan said proudly. Nick Sabernail has lost an ancient tome from his museum, making him a murder suspect.

Detective Yolanda Vasquez suspects Nick of killing young women (and elderly Korean gentlemen?) to make off with their blood. And she refuses to find him charming, in spite of his charm.

Victor Drakan (not his real name-but who in LA has a real name?) kills the living to bring back dead celebrities so that he can film their lost movies and show them on public access television. Because undeath must be made to pay one way or another.

Citizens missing. Graves plundered. Elvis sightings on the rise.

Can Nick win over the fair Yolanda before the Zombie Nation takes over LA? Can Yolanda find a man she can trust before all the good ones (and, frankly, most of the bad ones) are gone? Can Marylin Monroe the Zombie overcome the effects of decay long enough to remember her lines? Find the answers here, stalwart readers.

A horror comedy and a satire on self-creation. Undead in LA will change the way you look at pop culture; and zombie bank robberies.
