An Ember in the Dark

After unexpectedly losing her adoptive mother and discovering some rather disconcerting secrets, archeologist Ember decides to do a little digging into her heritage, only to find that things aren't exactly what they seem. When she heads to Oregon in an attempt to uncover the truth, she falls into a portal leading to the magical realm, Queridian. Who should find her but sexy Fae Vampire, Alexei who tells her that she's his prisoner and he's taking her to see the King. Will she be able to survive this new realm and all of the creatures within, or will this spontaneous trip ultimately lead to her doom?
