While there are stories in the Bible of people seeing God face to face and hearing from God through his voice and through messengers, we see many examples of God working through nature to communicate with his people. When we want to seek God, to communicate with him in a personal way, we can do this by opening our minds and spirits through various avenues: prayer, worship, reading God’s Word in the Bible, hearing God’s Word through messengers or prophets. This book was written as an exploration into the many ways that we can be impacted by nature to communicate with God. Nancy & Chad determine to show God’s faithfulness, despite circumstances, even our own choices, that can take us down paths we never intended to walk; but more than that, their stories reveal how a perfect God communicates with imperfect people, using nature. Humans share a common bond with nature. All are created by God. As the top tier in God’s order of creation, we humans can inspire and be inspired. We know that God uses everything for his purpose.
